Add manual PC game installs with an .exe path
Titles outside linked stores can still sit in your library and on session cards.
When to add a manual entry
Some PC titles live outside linked stores: GOG installers you manage yourself, itch.io builds, or older discs ripped to a folder. PlayGrid can launch from an .exe path when the game is not in your Steam, Epic, and EA sync.
Add a manual game
- Library → add manual entry.
- Point to the game .exe on disk.
- Name the title so friends recognize it on session invites.
- Manual rows still participate in planning; overlap is only as accurate as what everyone added.
FAQ
Do manual games count for shared overlap?
Only if each player added the same title. PlayGrid does not scan disks automatically.
Can I launch manual entries from a session?
Yes when the session pins that title and your .exe path is set.
Does this replace GOG, Xbox, and Ubisoft linking?
GOG, Xbox, and Ubisoft are on the roadmap. Today PlayGrid ships Steam, Epic, and EA with friends, sessions, and launch.
