Install PlayGrid on Windows

Step-by-step help if Defender SmartScreen blocks the installer or shows Unknown publisher.

Download from playgrids.app
Use the Download button on playgrids.app/download. The installer is served through our API and should save as PlayGrid_<version>_x64-setup.exe.
Run the installer
Open the file from your Downloads folder. Windows 10 or newer is required. Setup may ask for administrator approval because the app installs for all users on the machine.
If SmartScreen appears
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC” with Unknown publisher. That happens when Windows has not built trust for the app yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. We are working toward a signed publisher certificate; the warning can still appear for new releases.
Finish setup and sign in
Follow the installer prompts. Launch PlayGrid, create an account or sign in, then link Steam and Epic under Settings → Stores.
Still blocked?
If a third-party antivirus removed the file, restore it only if you downloaded from playgrids.app. For other issues, contact us via playgrids.app/contact and include your Windows version and a screenshot of the dialog (no passwords).
